Persons selected for a position must produce a copy of their high school diploma or GED and any additional licenses or degrees, if required.  Proof of identity, eligibility to work and a criminal background check is also required.  Other pre-employment conditions are set forth in the Personnel Policy.  Regular employees whose positions are listed in the Union Contract are required to join the Union (AFSCME Local 535).  There is no residency requirement.  However, some positions require residency in Denver Housing Authority owned property or participation in Denver Housing Authority administered programs.
