General Information

Once approved for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program (“HCV Program”), families’ files are forward to DHA’s Section 8 Department.  All new clients (“families”) must attend a “mandatory” Orientation.  The families are notified by mail when to attend their scheduled Orientation session.  At the time of Orientation, the families are issued vouchers authorizing them to search for a unit (based on family’s composition in determining bedroom size), leasing information and a listing of available properties in the City and County of Denver.
